Dr. Amy Summers offers the governing board of Chesterton Academy of the Divine Family a wealth of experience in Catholic school leadership and academic formation. She currently serves as Principal of St. Mary Catholic School and previously led St. Maria Goretti Catholic High School, Hagerstown Maryland, as Principal and Dean of Curriculum and Instruction, guiding both faculty and students in a mission-centered educational environment. With nearly three decades of experience as a teacher, instructional coach, math instructor, and adjunct faculty member at both the high school and university levels. Dr Summers has devoted her career to strengthening instruction and cultivating excellence in the classroom. Her long-standing commitment to Catholic education reflects a conviction that schools must shape not only strong scholars, but faithful, virtuous young men and women. As an ex-officio advisory board member, Dr Summers offers seasoned insight and a steady commitment to forming students in truth, wisdom, and character.
