Meet Our Governing Board:

Mr. Dustin Turner

Mr. Dustin Turner combines a lifelong passion for education with a deep commitment to Catholic faith and classical learning. With nearly two decades of experience as an educator and more than ten years in youth ministry, he has served as a teacher, department chair, school principal, and educational leader in both public and private schools. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies Education from Fairmont State University, a Master of Legal Studies from West Virginia University, and an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to developing curriculum, mentoring teachers, fostering student growth, and leading schools with integrity and purpose. His experience also includes founding a rural youth partnership, coaching athletics and speech and debate, and providing instructional leadership both locally and internationally.

Mr. Turner’s journey into the Catholic Church and his discovery of classical education profoundly renewed his appreciation for the transformative power of authentic Christian formation. He believes that education should cultivate not only intellectual excellence but also virtue, wisdom, and a lifelong pursuit of truth. His background in school leadership, curriculum development, and youth formation, together with his love for the Catholic faith, equips him to help advance the mission of Chesterton Academy of the Divine Family. He considers it a privilege to serve on the governing board and is deeply grateful for the opportunity to help form the next generation of faithful Catholic leaders.
