James F. Mannarino joins the governing board of Chesterton Academy of the Divine Family following a lifetime of leadership shaped by business, media, and faithful service to the Church. A graduate of the University of Maryland in Political Science and Journalism, he went on to serve as president of The Washington Post Company’s community newspaper division for more than two decades, overseeing 400 employees and maintaining profitability throughout his tenure. He later served as Parish Manager of St. Joseph on Carrollton Manor Catholic Church and currently leads The Word Among Us Partners as President. With extensive board experience and strengths in leadership, communication, and financial stewardship, Mr. Mannarino is deeply committed to fostering institutions that form both minds and hearts. He brings to the Academy a conviction that strong leadership, clear communication, and faithful mission are essential to educating young people for lives of purpose and service.
