Kathleen Lilly
Humanities Teacher | Instructor – Theology

Mrs. Kathleen Lilly brings over 15 years of dedicated experience in Catholic high school education, where she has shared the richness of the Catholic faith with teens through Scripture, Tradition, and personal witness. Her approach to teaching is deeply rooted in the belief that both teacher and student journey together in discovering the person of Jesus Christ, with the Lord as the true Teacher and source of all truth.


Mrs. Lilly earned her Master’s degree in Theology from Catholic International University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the University of Maryland, College Park. She served as a Theology teacher at St. Maria Goretti Catholic High School in Hagerstown for 16 years, and prior to that, taught Religion at Elizabeth Seton High School in Bladensburg, Maryland. Her extensive classroom experience has been marked by warmth, wisdom, and a deep devotion to the Church’s teachings.


Known for her gentle presence and heartfelt commitment to her students’ spiritual growth, Mrs. Lilly cultivates a classroom environment centered on reverence, intellectual formation, and openness to the Holy Spirit. Her role as a theology instructor is more than academic—it is a ministry of guiding young hearts and minds toward Christ and His Church.


Mrs. Lilly’s combination of theological depth, classroom expertise, and love for the faith makes her a treasured member of our faculty and a spiritual role model for our students.
