Meet Our Faculty:
Mr. Ryan Rasco is an enthusiastic and mission-driven educator dedicated to helping students grow in both their intellectual and spiritual formation. A native of Hagerstown, Maryland, Mr. Rasco holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a Minor in Foundations of Education from Davis & Elkins College. He also earned an Associate of Science in Mathematics from Hagerstown Community College and is a graduate of Saint Maria Goretti Catholic High School, where he was a member of both the National Honor Society and the National Spanish Honor Society.
Mr. Rasco brings dynamic experience in STEM education, tutoring, and student engagement. While at Davis & Elkins, he served as a mathematics and physics tutor, supporting students with personalized learning strategies and test preparation. His passion for inquiry-based learning was demonstrated through his role as a mentor at the Governor’s STEM Institute and as a Science Public Outreach Team (SPOT) Ambassador for the Green Bank Radio Observatory, where he reached over 200 K–12 students with presentations on astronomy and STEM topics.
In addition to his strong academic background, Mr. Rasco has presented at planetarium shows, led undergraduate research in mathematical modeling, and served as a student-athlete and campus leader. His combination of classical Catholic education, STEM excellence, and communication skills makes him a valuable asset to our teaching faculty.
With a heart for Catholic formation and a mind for analytical problem-solving, Mr. Rasco is committed to cultivating a joyful and disciplined classroom rooted in truth and virtue.
