Samantha Katlyn Herbst
Executive Assistant

Ms. Samantha Katlyn Herbst contributes a rich combination of communication, creativity, and educational experience to her role as Executive Assistant at Chesterton Academy of the Divine Family. With a strong background in professional writing, digital media, music, and student mentorship, she is committed to supporting the Academy’s mission and strengthening its daily operations. Her attention to detail, collaborative spirit, and enthusiasm for clear and meaningful communication make her a valuable member of the school community.


Ms. Herbst holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Professional Writing and Vocal Music from Bridgewater College, along with a minor in Business Administration, and has pursued a Master of Arts in Digital Media Strategies. Her experience includes developing instructional content, facilitating writing workshops, mentoring emerging writers, and providing detailed feedback to strengthen communication skills. She has also demonstrated leadership through creative writing organizations, public presentations, digital communications projects, and the direction of an original musical production. Her study abroad experience in Cyprus further broadened her intercultural awareness and deepened her appreciation for the historical and religious significance of Christianity in the region.


Recognized for her professionalism, creativity, and servant-hearted approach, Ms. Herbst is passionate about helping people feel welcomed, informed, and supported. Whether coordinating administrative initiatives, assisting faculty and families, or communicating the Academy’s vision to the wider community, she approaches each responsibility with integrity, energy, and care. Her gifts in organization, writing, digital media, and collaborative leadership position her to serve Chesterton Academy of the Divine Family with excellence as it forms students in truth, goodness, beauty, and joyful discipleship.
