Meet Our Faculty:
Mr. Dustin P. Turner offers more than two decades of experience in education and over ten years of youth ministry in his role as Headmaster of Chesterton Academy of the Divine Family. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a deep commitment to academic excellence, servant leadership, and the formation of young people. His to the Catholic Faith, combined with his profound love of classical education, has renewed his sense of vocation and shaped his vision of education as a means of forming both the intellect and the soul. He considers it a great privilege and a sign of God’s abundant grace to serve the Chesterton Academy community.
Mr. Turner holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies Education from Fairmont State University, a Master of Legal Studies from West Virginia University, and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. His professional experience includes serving as principal of Salisbury Christian School, teaching English language arts at Salisbury Middle School, instructing youth through the West Virginia Department of Education, and providing more than a decade of classroom and departmental leadership at St. Marys High School. He has also founded a rural community youth partnership, led instructional seminars, coached youth athletics, and mentored students through speech and debate.
Known for his articulate communication style, thoughtful leadership, and steadfast dedication to ensuring student excellence, Mr. Turner seeks to build a school culture rooted in truth, goodness, and beauty. He is passionate about partnering with families to form young men and women of virtue, wisdom, and joyful in faith. His combination of educational leadership, classroom experience, and love for Christ and His Church equips Mr Turner to guide Chesterton Academy of the Divine Family as it prepares students for excellence in learning, holiness in living, and faithful service to God and neighbor.
